We had to replace one of the front axles on our 2004 Yamaha Grizzly, so we took the opportunity to go a step further and widen it out a good 4 inches.

We went the wheel spacer route because I could not find any extended A-arms and axles.

I really like the stance here, but unfortunately, the spacers really change the steering and seem to add a lot of wobble at speed. It does need new tires.

It has a much more aggressive stance now and will be much more stable on the off camber trails.

I would love to do a project of making extended arms and axles on this bike. At this point I think I need a laythe, layout table/ jigs, tube bender, possibly a 3D mill.
Some good understanding of suspension and steering would be really helpful.
