We are focusing on ATV’s and Carts, but we all know we want to see what the shop down the road is up to. We want to see your operation and builds too. We live in cool time where these things are possible.
What is Maker’s Manifest?
Maker’s Manifest is Steelbak’s showcase of the work of local artisans whose interests align with the themes of Steelbak. The idea is to reach out to these talented individuals, learn about their work, and share their stories with our community.
But it’s more than just a showcase. It’s about building connections, sparking inspiration, and fostering a sense of community. It’s about celebrating the diversity and creativity of the maker culture. And it’s about demonstrating the practical application and benefits of open-source and decentralized technologies wherever we can.
How Will It Work?
The plan for Maker’s Manifest is still in the early stages, but here’s a rough idea of how we envision it:
- Identify: We’ll start by identifying local artisans whose work we admire and are interested in.
- Connect: We’ll reach out to these artisans, explain our project, and invite them to be featured.
- Showcase: We’ll work with each artisan to create a feature that showcases their work and their story.
- Share: We’ll share these features on our platforms, encouraging our audience to engage with the content.
- Engage: As our audience grows, we’ll invite them to participate more actively, by sharing their own projects, suggesting artisans to feature, or contributing content.
- Expand: Over time, we’ll look for opportunities to expand the project, by featuring artisans from further afield, exploring new themes, or organizing community events.
When Will It Start?
Maker’s Manifest is a future project. Right now, our focus is on building the full skeleton of Steelbak and adding some decent meat to it. We’re committed to creating a solid foundation before we start adding new projects.
But that doesn’t mean we’re not excited about Maker’s Manifest. We’re sharing this now because we want you to know what’s in the pipeline. And we want you to be part of the journey.
